Been going since it was Pizza and Puds. Best pizza we have ever had ( even those in Italy) not just a bit of topping stuck in middle andd lots of boring bread round the edge. The Tirimasu must also be good as my husband who is known for his love of vareity has it every time we visit ( he has even asked for a bucketful but Hassen the cheif and boss would do it ). Even after they changed the menu and the pizza I liked wasn't on it I got what I wanted, no probs. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Of all the places we eat out in this is on of the most reasonable..
Another little restaurant tucked away up little old Bond Street, it's a wonder how these places keep afloat. The Toscana is nothing special to look at, and the thing that catches your eye immediately is the sign that says "Italian and Mexican Cuisine" - a bizarre combination I think you'll agree. That said, the Italian pizzas are some of the best I've had in the area, with a great deal of toppings/combinations to choose from. My partner indulged in the Mexican side of things and assures me his chicken Burrito was excellent (if you like that sort of thing!). Friendly though the staff are, I think the Toscana is overpriced - would you pay £8.00 for a plate of Nachos? Me neither.
