A little bit of love drifted through the offices of a local Yeovil company on February the 14th as Valentine verses were read and sweet treats enjoyed in a bid to raise money for The Flying Colours Appeal.

Employees across Yarlington lovingly baked some very beautiful cakes for a mid-morning cake sale and others put pen to paper and wrote creative, amusing or romantic poems for a competition judged by Gary Orr, Chief Executive Officer.
The two competitions raised a total of £64 for Yarlington's staff charity of the year.
Carey Howard, Community Co-ordinator, won the cake competition with her amazingly crafted heart shaped truffle cake and Helen Palmer, Community Assistant, won with her poetry entry 'Unconditional Love'.
Both entrants received a box of Thornton's chocolates as a prize.
