Alzheimer's Society is inviting people from all communities in the Yeovil area to join a local multi-cultural bake sale group. The group will meet once a month to plan fundraising events throughout the year, which will raise money for the charity’s services for people with dementia.
Whether you are someone who has dementia, a carer, an administrator or a cake-making expert there is a role for everybody. The great thing about this group is that you can fit it around the amount of time that you are available, as people are needed not only to organise and promote events but also to help on the day.
A free information evening is being held at 7pm - 9pm on Friday 25th January at Red Cross Centre, Grove Avenue, Yeovil, BA20 2BE. This is going to be a fun and sociable evening that everyone is welcome to attend to find out more. It will be a great way to meet the staff who you could be working with as well as the group members. To come along or to the evening or for more information, please contact Community Fundraiser Laura Smith on 01752 608904 or email email@example.com.
We hope to see you there!
