Somerset County Council is backing a national campaign called Home for Good that promotes fostering and adoption. Somerset needs many more foster carers and adopters and the County Council is supporting an information event to promote the Home for Good campaign on Thursday 6 February at Northover Manor in Ilchester.
National champion of Home for Good, Paul Woodman, will be at the event to give a presentation on the difference fostering and adoption makes to so many vulnerable children's lives. Anyone can attend the event. Paul will speak at 7.30pm and there will be an opportunity to speak to local foster carers, adopters and the Council's fostering and adoption team.
