Hey Yeovil People - Yesterday I collected about a kilo of sloes from the hedgerows out in a village near Sherborne, just wondered if anyone out there has a good method for making sloe gin?
We know the basic method but some people add the sugar to the sloes to draw out the juice before adding the gin, others just whack it all in at the same time.
Anyone made a good batch and care to share the details?
