  A Chard woman has been brought to justice following an investigation into suspected benefit fraud. Donna Fisher (29) of Reed Close in Chard did not inform the district council that her partner had found work, and as a result she continued to claim £2,400 in housing benefit and council tax benefit that she was no longer entitled to.   A Wincanton woman found guilty of benefit fraud has been fined after an investigation led by South Somerset District Council. Trudy Chubb, 40, of Rickhayes was sentenced on Monday 5 September and must pay a £250 fine, a £15 victim surcharge and £150 towards the district council's costs.
