    Police have released a picture of a man they wish to talk to in connection with a fraud investigation in Yeovil
    Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to talk to in connection with a fraud investigation. A man went into two banks in Yeovil and attempted to use fraudulent bank cards to withdraw money. Officers believe the man pictured may have valuable information to help them with their enquiry. Anyone who recognises the man pictured or the man himself is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

    Police are attempting to trace an escaped prisoner who they believe may be in the Somerset area. John Loveridge , aged 28, absconded from HMP North Sea Camp in Lincolnshire on Monday February 11. He was jailed in 2011 for offences including burglary and theft. Loveridge is described as white, around 5ft 8 to 5ft 9 inches tall, of a slim build, with short black hair and hazel coloured eyes.     Police are appealing for information following a burglary in the Birchfield Park area of Yeovil. Officers are urging antique shops, pawnbrokers, car boot sellers and second hand shops to be vigilante after naval medals were among the items stolen.
