Yeovil College is throwing open its doors for a Full-time Information Evening later this month.

Coinciding with Chinese New Year, why not come along to see where you could be in the Year of the Dragon!

Prospective students can visit Yeovil College between 5-8pm on Monday 28 January to meet staff, find out more about the exciting courses on offer and see how they can help them fulfil their potential.

Courses available include A Levels, vocational courses and apprenticeships, as well as specific programmes for Gifted and Talented and Foundation Learning students.

In addition, specialist support staff will be available to advise on other important topics such as finance and travel.

There will also be a team of current Yeovil College students on hand to talk about student life, including field trips and other enrichment opportunities.

Visitors will also have the chance to explore a number of brand new facilities including Nexus and Renaissance; the College's brand new mall and refectory.

Nexus houses new state-of-the-art Hospitality, Hair and Beauty training areas, where current students will be demonstrating their skills during the open evening.

Director of 14-19 Curriculum Andy Perlejewski explains: "Information evenings, like our November taster days, are unique opportunities to get a real sense of Yeovil College and what it offers.

"At these events, visitors can ask all the important questions before making a potentially life-changing decision.

"Once again this year, Yeovil College students have achieved excellent full-time pass rates, including 99% for A Level courses and 95% for vocational courses, but events like these mean that visitors can look beyond the statistics and find out how Yeovil College can support them as individuals to achieve their full potential, whatever they may be."
