Teenage girl assaulted in Yeovil

A 15 year-old girl was assaulted in Yeovil last weekend, Police have revealed.

The teenager was walking along Earle Street in Yeovil at 2pm on Sunday (February 3) with a friend when a man assaulted her. He is described as in his late 30s, of slim build and approximately 5'6" to 5'8" tall.

He also had a bald head, a black moustache and he was wearing a black leather jacket and straight leg black jeans.

The suspect was unknown to the victim.

A Police spokesman said: "This has been reported to us and an investigation was immediately launched.

"Enquiries are being conducted to identify the person responsible and we would like to hear from anyone who saw this man acting suspiciously in the area, or recognises the description.
