A Question Time debate between the four Police Crime Commissioner Election Candidates is taking place tomorrow in Taunton.

The candidates will face a grilling at this event organised by the Community Council for Somerset and Voscur who support, develop and represent Bristol's voluntary and community sector.

The debate will put the candidates under a spotlight and give the public a chance to have their say and ascertain what the candidates are going to do to tackle crime in their local areas.

The candidates are:

Liberal Democrat: Pete Levy, 51, a Police Constable, Royal Military Police officer and Bristol City Councillor.

Conservative: Ken Maddock, 68, who is a Mendip District Councillor and was previously the leader of Somerset County Council.

Independent: Sue Mountstevens, 57, a Bristol magistrate and former member of the Avon and Somerset Police Authority.

Labour: John Savage, 67, chairman of an NHS hospital trust and executive chairman of Bristol Chamber of Commerce and Initiative.

The Question Time event will take place from 7 – 9pm on Tuesday November 6 at Somerset County Cricket Club in Taunton.

To book at the Question Time event you can visit the Voscur website, and for more information on the debate contact Keeley Rudd on 01823 331222 or e-mail keeley@somersetrcc.org.uk.

I will be going along to hear what they have to say - is anyone else planning on going? What questions would you like the candidates to answer?
