Local landlords and anyone thinking of letting a property has the chance to get crucial updates and useful information at a free event in October.

Yeovil MP David Laws will be on hand to take questions and set out policy.
The last Landlords' Forum - run by the district council and the National Landlords Association - was packed to capacity, with dozens coming along to learn the latest information from industry experts and district council officers.
Laceys Yeovil have sponsored the event which takes place at the new venue of Yeovil Rugby Club on Dorchester Road, Thursday 6 October from 6pm to 8.15pm, with the first speaker at 6.25pm. There is ample free parking. Places can now be booked by e-mailing housing.options@southsomerset.gov.uk.
For the first time, MP David Laws will speak at the event on the Government's approach to housing, giving landlords an opportunity to ask questions and get the latest directly from their parliament representative.
Experts will then dispel myths about evicting tenants and give advice on what to do if landlord-tenant relationships break down. Tenant Accreditation and a private sector leasing scheme are also on the agenda.
Ian Rigby, Private Tenancy Sustainment Officer at SSDC said: "It is an important time to work together - with changing legislation and the growing demand for private rented accommodation to meet housing need.
"We want to give our local landlords all the information they need, in bite size chunks, so they can provide safe homes for residents and this event will help ensure that they have the tools and knowledge they need to be good, fully informed property managers."
SSDC has also set up a free Landlord's Accreditation scheme designed to make it easier for local landlords to let their properties and at the same time help open up more rental opportunities for residents looking for housing.
