For anyone of retirement age who needs advice on their benefits, help is on hand at a series of free sessions running throughout August.
Yarlington Housing Group is offering free advice through their Community Core Cafes, from their dedicated Welfare Benefits Officer who will be able to discuss problems and entitlements on a range of subjects including Attendance Allowance, Council Tax Benefit, Disability Living Allowance, Tax Credits, Pensions Credit and much more, including the impact of the welfare reform and how it may affect you from next April. There will also be advice from the Financial Inclusion Officer who may be able to help with any financially related problems, or put you in touch with other organisations such as Citizens Advice Bureau or Consumer Credit Counselling.
